Library services and facilities are available to PUH staff and HSE community staff in East Galway in addition to students on clinical placement and at the National Ambulance Service College in Ballinasloe.
Library staff provide support for research, continuing professional development, education and enhancing patient care through evidence-based practices.
Library users at PUH can avail of 6 PCs and 5 study desks in addition to printing, scanning, and photocopying facilities. Some leisure seating is also available, providing a comfortable space for staff to unwind.
Hospital staff and students with swipe cards can also access a 24/7 study room opposite the library which offers study spaces, Wi-Fi and 4 PCs.
