Library staff provide support for research, continuing professional development, education and supporting patient care by providing best practice evidence.
The Library and Education Centre is on the first floor of the Scott Building (entry level from the official front entrance) of the Scott Building. Controlled access is available from the link corridor to the main hospital at ground floor level.
The remit of the library is to provide healthcare professionals access to a comprehensive range of evidence-based, up-to-date knowledge resources for the purposes of:
1. Research into specific clinical questions, conditions or treatments relevant to the care of individual patients
2. Keeping up-to-date with developments in a specific area of the health sciences, or the professional literature of a given specialty
3. Continuing professional education

The Library has 11 PCs as well as printing/scanning/photocopying facilities, Wi-Fi, 10 study desks and our book collection.
The Library also has a Poster Printer, 3D Printer and MakerLab (which supports the creation of prototypes and innovation).
There are two study rooms [the Out of Hours Study Room (FF-049) and the Collaborative Study Room (FF-050)], WiFi and PC access (3 PCs) available in the Education Centre on a 24/7 basis.
