Welcome to the HSE Library, Regional Hospital Mullingar
Library services and facilities are provided for all hospital and community staff and students on clinical placement.
The Library’s aim is to provide access to a comprehensive range of evidence based, up-do-date knowledge resources to support:
Patient care.
Research into specific clinical questions, conditions or treatments relevant to the care of individual patients.
Keeping up-to-date with developments in a specific area of the health sciences, or the professional literature of a given specialty.
Education and continuous professional development.
The Library is located beside the Administration building.
The Library is divided across two rooms:
The Library contains the book collection, study desks, comfortable soft chairs and a couch.
The Library Office contains the staff desks and 2 PCs which are available for general use.

Photocopier/Scanner, Printing available.
Library Staff are available if you need any help finding information or using the Library’s online resources.

When the Library is closed, the Education Centre room beside the Library can be used for study. The Conference Room and the Seminar Room are also available for study when they are free.
