HSE National Library & Knowledge Service has its headquarters at Dr. Steevens’ Library.

Library and Knowledge services are available to all staff based at Dr. Steevens’ Hospital and any National offices, for example, those based at Parkgate Street, Jervis Street, Merchant’s Quay, Palmerstown etc.

Access your library account and renew online

  • View and renew your books online: Login to the library catalogue and you can view details of all the items you have on loan, renew items and place holds
  • Self registration: if you do not have a library account you can self register using the online form
  • Update your own details: If you have changed address or email you can change this on your catalogue record. We are also asking our users to login check the data and terms and conditions box on their accounts to agree to the information we hold on them in the library management system
  • Get your password: to access these features use the ‘login to your account’ box on the right side on the catalogue home page. If you haven’t logged in before, choose ‘forgot your password’ then add your login which will be first name, last name and your email address and a temporary password will be emailed to you which you can change once logged in.
