The Library Service at Cavan General Hospital aims to provide expert advice and training to support patient care, evidence-based practice and Continuous Professional Development for all HSE staff & students. The remit of the library is to provide healthcare professionals access to knowledge resources for the following purposes::
-4 standalone pcs, connected to our independent Wi-Fi.
-12 study spaces and a comfortable seating area with two chairs, which are available 24/7 to HSE staff and students.
-Independent Wi-Fi.
-Comprehensive physical book collection available for perusal Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
Cavan General Hospital is staffed by a one-person librarian. The librarian is onsite during the hours below:
Mon – Thurs 9.00 – 16:00
Friday 9.00 – 15.00
Access to the study area/PCs is available on a 24/7 basis.
